[09:20:32] <muhammad> l am here jonas
[09:20:47] <jonas> hi
[09:21:37] <muhammad> why you not make your site to dinamis ?
[09:24:44] <jonas> I try hard to avoid dynamic generating content, for several reasons:
[09:25:01] <jonas> *) to minimize computer ressources
[09:25:27] <jonas> *) to minimize possible security attack vectors
[09:26:07] <jonas> *) to maximize portability (i.e. ability to use a copy when fully offline)
[09:26:27] <jonas> *) to ease debugging
[09:28:20] <jonas> Regarding computer ressources, I mean multiple things: the *server* need not compute pages uniquely for each request, and the distribution channels need not carry the request all the way from server to client for each request, and client need not request a page each time it is read
[09:30:00] <muhammad> ok jonas.
[09:30:26] <muhammad> l am unserstand
[09:31:33] <muhammad> jonas: do you have blog ?
[09:31:34] <jonas> I am a big fan of RESTful design
[09:31:49] <jonas> I am not a good programmer
[09:32:31] <jonas> by using static web pages, I leave the task of doing good RESTful design to the web server :-D
[09:33:33] <muhammad> restful web serfice of netbeans  ?
[09:34:00] <jonas> netbeans is Java approach to dynamic web, right?
[09:34:07] <muhammad> yes
[09:34:39] <jonas> what do you ask about netbeans?
[09:35:13] <muhammad> why you not try write the tutorial (blogging)
[09:35:46] <muhammad> l guess, you is lazy writer right ? :D
[09:45:27] <muhammad> ;-)
[09:50:41] <jonas> what tutorial?
[09:51:15] <jonas> regarding blogging: My website is sort-of a blog too
[09:51:44] <jonas> See here: http://dr.jones.dk/blog/
[09:52:13] <jonas> but the articles of my blog is integrated with my website - not a separate site.
[09:52:41] <jonas> I try to organize things in projects - blog entries and other style pages tied together
[10:00:30] <muhammad> https://mail.jones.dk/mailman/listinfo
[10:00:41] <muhammad> the web is powered by python ?
[10:09:54] muhammad leaves the room
[13:50:35] <jonas> yes, that website is mainly generated by mailman - a Python tool
